As you all well know slime type creatures are normally lower level mobs at max and are often times the first monsters that a character defeats in order to level up before taking on bigger and better things, well what if those bigger and better things was THIS!!!!

Description
A behemoth of formless shape, it takes and overwhelms with which nothing can deter. Power and wit are both friends to this foe, as it is never without a plan. It consumes endlessly, and death will be to any foe that nears its gluttony. Though solitary, it is never alone and this army of one is always at wary of its front...or its back...and everywhere around it. With wit, it can lead an army of itself and maintain order within its parts. With power and prowess, it can bring of the weight of a tidal wave down with pin-like precision. This ruthless glutton rules the realm of water and brings all things aquatic under its domain.



Biology:
Called the Death Jelly, it kills its prey by enveloping them inside its aqueous membrane that is its entire body and once one enters they don't come out. This creature is an illusive beast that lives a life quite similar to an amphibian, while its structure is more like that of a jellyfish. It starts its life in water of a relatively small size. At this point, its self is merely an inkling of core nerve mucus that works similar to a primitive brain. But as it grows older, it begins to develop a larger nerve network system composed of mucous type lining as well as central eye spots. At one point, it gains self recognition, as well as the ability to differentiate its self from its mucous siblings. Once gaining a size of immense proportions, enough so swallow two full grown elephants, it leaves the water system with which it dwells. At this point it can begin hunting as opposed to its more passive adolescent life where it would wait for prey to enter itself. This being also has indeterminate growth which as long as it has a steady supply of prey to create nerves and water to incorporate into itself will continue to grow. At this point its ability adapt has surpassed any land living creature. And as such in order to perfect its hunt its ability see has evolved from eye spots to a complex organ that can view in any type of lighting and with perfect precision. To hide and allude any possible threats, it can enter any water system and once within it is virtually undetectable. Having reached a size unmeasurable to any water based creature on land, it begins to bud and any mucus that separates from the main body is still controlled and part of its whole. At this point hunting can be done by is smaller mirrored selves as it takes refuge in caves and damp places with underground sources of water. It is an enemy to any normal creature that lives as it has the ability to solidify water to gelatinous form as long as it has a foothold in the water. It is quite the most ominous formless creature of the water system as it can change and grow as well as contain enough intellect to adapt to any situation nearly instantly as long as it understand and sees what is occurring.
